La Vague is a delightful cul de sac tucked away in the heart of the village just back from the church. This individual family home is set back with plenty of driveway parking and a garage with an electric roller door. A few steps lead to the entrance where a magnificent hallway awaits. Contemporary in style with practical yet chic floor tiling, this area offers a fine reception along with plenty of space to leave coats and shoes. The living room has patio doors opening onto the sun deck (which spans the rear of the house) and a charming view of the garden and countryside beyond. The kitchen has a range of modern units and an integrated oven and hob, with additional space for appliances and a tiled floor. The dining room is perfect for entertaining and family get-togethers with doors to the sun deck which in turn also adjoins the living space. With the inside and outside space flowing so well, it's easy to see why the owners will miss the house so much when they move. Two bedrooms and a bathroom complete the ground floor. Heading upstairs, there is a master bedroom with great views and a super en-suite plus an additional study/work room. Without a doubt the gardens are a real treat with many established plants and shrubs. A palm tree adds a tropical feel.
Feock is quite rightly an exceptionally sought after village with a thriving community. Truro is a short drive away but it seems hard to believe that this charming village on the Carrick Roads is within five miles of M&S! The beach offers a hub of activity with a thriving cafe, watersports centre and sailing school. Keen sailors may want to take advantage of one of the seasonal moorings and families will enjoy lazy days on the beach.
The city of Truro is a small but thriving community with an excellent choice of national and independent retailers, supermarkets, a five screen cinema, theatre (currently being totally refurbished), leisure centre, schools and college. The mainline train station has a regular service to London and the north.
